lizzie bennet diaries thirty days challenge - day 6: best costume theatre?
I’m kinda disappointed over how people might overlook this particular costume theatre. However, I can’t blame them; Jane!Darcy and Darcy!Fitz  are absolutely phenomenal. But for me, this particular one has a special place in my heart.
To me, it kinda shows how hard Caroline is trying to pretend to like Lizzie. (And maybe she does, genuinely at some point… To a certain extent. Who knows.) She really wants to convince the girl that she is friends with her, that she’s on her side. She even lets go of her finesse to help portray her brother in Lizzie’s reenactment.
Which brings me to another point: It’s a sister playing her own brother. Can you imagine the years of personal interaction with the guy have built this exact impersonation of him? Also, being siblings, this totally shouldn’t have been the only time she has done an impersonation of her own brother. I mean, come on.
